You all know about it, I am pretty sure: this weekend took place IndieCade, the International Festival of Independant Games.
It was held in the CNAM (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers) in the Center of Paris from Friday the 18th to Saturday the 19th of novembre.
IndieCade, what did I miss?
I will start by saying it would depend on what you are looking for but as for me, it was exactly where I wanted to be.
We were surrounded by interesting and creative people. I found them to be open and nice to everyone.
What you need to know is that most were professionnals and adults so no-one were shouting like crazy all around :p
Here are a few pictures I took.
There was plenty to do (maybe a bit too much I would say). You could choose between all of those:
- Testing Games from students of the Enjmin
- Testing Games from Indie Studios
- Having a coffee 🙂 and eat a nice meal
- There were workshops as well
The conferences running from 10 am to the end of the day, there was almost no time to try the games. What I did is going there at lunch time while eating a sandwich but I did not get to try all of them.
There you have it, a quick overview of the Event.
See you next time 😉
